For businesses like us, finding the right locations first time in Gauteng and Cape Town is really important! But street addresses in South Africa are not always reliable – they sometimes point to the wrong place entirely, and they are never accurate enough to direct you to a specific entrance, car park or township address. Specifically in South Africa, they do not exist for many more places, such as settlements and townships.
That is why we are using what3words! It is an easy way to identify precise locations. Every 3 meter square has been given a unique combination of three words: a what3words address. For example, the exact entrance to our cold storage partner Coldfeet, can be found at ///reinforce.against.spacing!
