Collect and Deliver in Gauteng
We offer several channels to help you with your requirements:
- Call Us, or
- Send Us a WhatsApp, or
- Fill in the online form, or
- If you have an online e-commerce platform, integrate via formatted email notices, or
- Sharing recurring deliveries and schedules using either Google Drive or Dropbox.
Which ever channel you choice, we will deliver on your behalf. What is important to remember is that with three trucks, we can only service specific areas daily. For example, if you want to collect in Gauteng South and deliver to Gauteng North, we need to task the truck servicing Gauteng South on the day that it will service the zone, collect your goods, and then store it overnight for delivery the next day to Gauteng North. The need for the schedule is simply due to the fact that one would require four or five trucks to be able to service Gauteng daily, due to fast distances and traffic.
Let us look at some examples (a) collect in Central and deliver to Central, (b) collect in Central and deliver Far (North, South, East or West), (c) Collect Far and deliver in Central, and (d) Collect Far and deliver Far.
Delivery Zones and Schedules

You should always check our schedule for the latest information. It does not change often, but sometimes religious holidays bring our wheels to a halt.
Collect Central, Deliver Central
If you notify us in advance, we can plan our route for the day to include your Collect and Deliver. We ask that you notify and confirm the tasking by 17:00 (5PM) the previous day in order for us to action your request.
Collect Central, Deliver Far
Collection in Central can happen daily, but redelivery to Far (South, West, North and East), will be scheduled in the next calendar slot when a truck service this zone. We offer overnight holding facilities for this purpose. We ask that you notify and confirm the tasking by 17:00 (5PM) the previous day in order for us to action your request.
Collect Far, Deliver Central
Collection in Far will happen when our trucks service the specific area or zone. Redelivery could happen the same day if the delivery is in the Central Zone, and we can plan it into our daily route. Otherwise, redelivery will happen during the next calendar slot that our trucks service the far zones. We ask that you notify and confirm the tasking by 17:00 (5PM) the previous day in order for us to action your request.
Collect Far, Deliver Far
Collection in Far (South, West, East and North) will happen when our trucks service the specific area or zone. Redelivery will then happen the next day if the delivery address is not in the same Far zone. So for example, assume we need to collect in Heidelberg, deliver one order in Springs, and the rest in Pretoria. We will plan our route to accommodate the Springs redelivery on the same route, but the redeliveries for Pretoria will only be scheduled for the next day. We ask that you notify and confirm the tasking by 17:00 (5PM) the previous day in order for us to action your request.
Fees and Billing
So how does the billing work? We charge a nominal fee of R135 per STOP. If we need to collect in Gauteng South, it will count as one STOP, and then redeliver to Gauteng North, that will count as the second STOP. So you will be liable for R135 x 2 = R270 (to be paid in advance or presentation of invoice).
However, let us assume you have 10 orders to collect from your spot, and 10 deliveries that needs to take place within the province. We only charge you for one STOP when collecting, and one STOP for each delivery. In this case, you will be liable for R135 x 1 to Collect, and R135 x 10 to deliver, for a total of R1485.

Packing and Parcels
Your goods may be packed in carton boxes (please be careful in using recycled boxes, as they will get wet in the back of the trucks due to the high level of humidity the freezers can generate, and disintegrate!), plastic recyclable or biodegradable bags, or paper bags. By using our services, you will save on packaging!
The goods must be well labelled, and include the customers’ name or order number, with the corresponding paper work for us to manage the redelivery.
Delivery Address Verification and Contact Details
Unfortunately, South Africa does not implement formal street address verification (whether postal or smart codes). As we deliver to towns, cities, townships and settlements, finding your customers’ establishment can be daunting and time consuming. Equally frustrating is not being able to contact your customer, or have alternate contact details for him or her.
what3words provide you and us with the ability to translate geospatial location data (also called GPS or longitude and latitude location data) into simple three words to remember or capture. On average, our day will require 35% of our time on the road to find new establishments. Not cool at all!
what3words have divided the world into 3m squares and given each square a unique combination of three words.
what3words addresses are easy to say and share, and as accurate as GPS coordinates.
