Internal Order Statusses
We use the following internal order statusses during planning and execution of the delivery, irrespective of the initiating platform (your eCommerce store):
- ACCEPTED – new work order received from SENDER or Merchant, validation passed, and work order created
- ONHOLD – new work order received, on-hold for address validation
- PLANNED – work order execution in planning phase
- SCHEDULED – work order execution scheduled
- DISPATCHED – delivery dispatched
- ENROUTE – delivery enroute to recipient address
- COMPLETED – work order completed, goods delivered
- FAILED – work order failed, goods not delivered
- REJECTED – work order rejected, goods not delivered
- CANCELLED – work order cancelled by SENDER or Merchant
Notifications are send to all parties in eMail during the course of the process, and WhatsApp or SMS for SCHEDULED, DISPATCHED, ENROUTE, COMPLETED, FAILED or REJECTED.
ACCEPTED

Upong receiving the tasking instruction from you, the payload is validated as follow:
- Is the Address Details Present and Valid (either order.billing or order.shipping)
- Is the Mobile Present Present and Valid (either order.billing or order.shipping)
- is the Email Address Present and Valid (either order.email or order.billing)
- Is the Merchant Details Present and Valid (order.id, senderID)
We also notify your customer that we have received a delivery instruction from you for their parcel. This introduction email help that your customer can capture our cell phone numbers, and include reminders for secure access areas. The Pre-Delivery Notification typically also allow your customers to tell us if they are not going to be available, or they might have time constrains.
ONHOLD

- Merchant Notices: On-Hold
On-hold means the work order is placed into our work queue, ONHOLD. This allow us to further validate the address (delivery details). Street side addresses in South Africa is the biggest challenge for Last Mile Delivery Services, irrespective of the logistics and courier company. As a courier, we need to deliver as many parcels per day per truck that we can physically achieve. Every 30 minutes of delay in trying to find a new address, or gain access to a security estate / complex / boomed area, deminish this goal, and will ultimately result in higher delivery fees to compensate for the losses.
PLANNED

Planned means the work order is now placed into PLANNED mode, and slotted into our daily delivery calendar. We plan deliveries daily across the province and Cape Town, to ensure that we execute our routes as efficiently and cost effective possible.
SCHEDULED
- Customer Notices: YES
- Merchant Notices: Scheduled
Scheduled means we have locked the routes for delivery, and recipients (your customers) will receive a similar notice as above to inform them that their delivery has been scheduled. For collections during the day, we also send notifications to our merchants with the planned timeslot for collection.
DISPATCHED
- Customer Notices: YES
- Merchant Notices: Dispatched
On the morning of delivery, the recipient (your customer) will receive the DISPATCHED notice. This notice includes the planned delivery timeslot and additional details such as the driver.
ENROUTE
- Customer Notices: YES
- Merchant Notices: Enroute
During the course of execution, when the driver selects the next delivery point, an ENROUTE message is send to all parties.
COMPLETED
- Customer Notices: YES
- Merchant Notices: Completed
Upon completion of the process, the final message is conveyed to all parties.
FAILED
- Customer Notices: YES
- Merchant Notices: Failed
Upon completion of the process, the final message is conveyed to all parties.
REJECTED
- Customer Notices: YES
- Merchant Notices: Rejected
Upon completion of the process, the final message is conveyed to all parties.
CANCELLED
- Customer Notices: YES
- Merchant Notices: Cancelled
Cancellation notifications are only accepted during the PLANNING and SCHEDULED phase of execution.
